Pre Session Advice and Care

MICROBLADING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Under the age of 18
Breastfeeding or Pregnant
Allergies to Lidocaine (Numbing cream)
Hemophilia or other blood clotting disorder
Lupus
Keloid scarring
Diabetic
Those undergoing or having chemotherapy within less than 6 months
Autoimmune disease
Allergies to lidocaine
Viral/flu/cold
Albinism
Excessively oily skin
Seborrheic Dermatitis
Skin Irritations or Psoriasis near the brow area (sunburn, acne, rashes)
Broken Capillaries (in the brow area)
Moles (in direct brow area)
Accutane (in the past year)
Organ Transplant
Pacemaker or major heart issues

Microblading Pre-Care

Avoid sun burns and tanning one week prior
Avoid Ibuprofen, Advil, Vitamin E, Fish oils, aspirin and blood thinners (if these meds and supplements are Dr prescribed please consult with your Dr before you discontinue!)
Avoid Alcohol and caffeinated beverages 48 hours before procedure
Avoid any microdermabrasion, chemical peels prior to your procedure
Discontinue Retin-A 1 month prior
Stop all Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) near the brow area 1-2 weeks prior to procedure
No Botox 2 months prior
No tinting or brow waxing 1 week prior
Avoid Microdermabrasion and chemical peels 1 month prior

Important: Having this procedure done while menstruating may increase sensitivity(Please plan accordingly)

Very important: Avoid the sun and sun tanning 30 days before and after. Any peeling of the skin caused by sun exposure will cause skin and pigment to peel off. If you are sun tanned or sunburned we will have to reschedule and you will lose your deposit.

Prepare to be there 1.5 hours the day of the initial appointment

Please arrive on time to your apptointment so that you have time to fill out necessary paperwork and so that you can settle in and get ready for the procedure.

It is very important you follow the aftercare. I can not make any guarantees as to the outcome of the procedure due to how differently everyone heals and also depending on whether or not a client has followed their after care will make a big difference. Please understand It is my aim to give the most beautiful brows but at the same token please know that it’s unrealistic to have anything extremely perfect.
